Extra Large Diameter Bamboo Culms

Extra large diameter bamboo culms are 55-65mm in diameter by 12'-0" long. These are the prefered culms for large flyrods in an 8 weight or above, including two handed spey rods.
 Some quad makers use them, because the larger diameter allows for wider flat sections in the strips.  The wall thickness is greater, but they typically have more cosmetic flaws then the standard poles. The larger poles are not as common, and represent only about 20% of our annual inventory.
XL poles are sold in bundles of 8 culms.
